Class Description:
Please bring your own mat.
Wednesday- This class will be a 30 minute pre-class warm up. It will consist of Pilates fundamentals, mat work, at floor bar to warm, strengthen, and focus the dancers’ mind and body on proper and optimum core support.
Saturday- This will be a one hour class for dancers and the general public. It will incorporate exercises from Pilates fundamental work, and classic and expanded mat forms. The purpose of the class is to better understand your core support system and how it can help the body to work at a more efficient level. Whether you’re looking to improve your postural support, strengthen your back and abs, increase your flexibility, provide overall tone, or simply release the tension of your daily life, this class will help to get you there!
