Susanne Linke for JRD dancers
JRD is very excited to have had Susanne Linke come to Philadelphia to work with our dancers. The internationally renowned German choreographer conducted an exploratory workshop with JRD during the first two weeks of October 2007. (Jeanne Ruddy worked with Susanne in Vienna last summer. This workshop will lead to a new work premiering during our 2008 season.

Master Classes
During October 2007 Susanne Linke held Master Classes which were open to Intermediate/Advanced dancers. Her structurally dynamic class consisted of standing and across-the-floor exercises incorporating challenging use of port de bras and varying rhythms.
She will be in residency March 4th to April 8th, 2008, during which time she will again teach open classes every Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 to 11:30.
