Matt Sharp (Technical Director) has been freelancing as a Philadelphia-based technical director and lighting designer since 2004. He has worked with Group Motion Dance Company since 2004, and has provided technical direction and design for numerous projects since then. Other lighting designs have been seen with Philadelphia Dance Projects, DanceFusion, Bryn Mawr College, Travesty Dance Group, Courtyard Dancers, Ausdruckstanz, Nichole Canuso Dance Company, and the New Edge Resident Artist Series at the Community Education Center.
In the theater world, Matt has lit work by EgoPo Classic Theater, New City Stage, Lafayette College Theater Program, Philadelphia Artists' Collective, and Theatre Horizon. Matt TDed the NET Micro-fest in 2011, occasionally designs sound for EgoPo, and has provided electrics support to the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Theatre Exile, among others.
Matt is a graduate of Haverford College (2002), magna cum laude, member Phi Beta Kappa.
