Amanda Miller

Amanda Miller began her dance training in Guam, USA. Her family then moved to South Carolina where she trained with teachers from The Royal Academy of Dance, London, England.
She studied at The Chautauqua Institute with Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux before moving to Connecticut and working extensively with Truman Finney. Amanda joined Pennsylvania Ballet in 1993. She has performed works by Lar Lubavich and Paul Taylor, and premiered works by Dwight Rhoden as well as by company members Matthew Neenan and Meredith Rainey. Amanda has worked on outside projects with Alonzo King, Doug Elkins, Eva Gholson, Paul Struck and filmmaker Tobin Rothlein.Her choreography has been commissioned by Phrenic New Ballet and Bryn Mawr College.
Amanda is a founding member of Phrenic New Ballet and lives in South Philadelphia.
