Rachael Glashan (Management Associate): After studying dance at Temple University, Rachael Glashan moved to New York to become the Rehearsal Coordinator for American Ballet Theatre. There, she was able to work with some of the industries top choreographers and dancers including, John Neumeier, Alexi Ratmansky, Twyla Tharp, Aszure Barton and Benjamin Millepied. Rachael was also given the opportunity to travel with ABT to some of the world’s largest opera houses including the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, China and The Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.
After ABT, Rachael joined the touring dance competition, StarQuest, where she served as the Judges Manager and Auditor. Being on tour made Rachael miss Philadelphia, and she decided to return to the city of brotherly love in the summer of 2011 to work for Jeanne Ruddy Dance.
One of Rachel’s biggest joys is teaching dance and she is excited to be the new outreach teacher for the company. Rachael is looking forward to learning and growing in her positions at JRD and is eager to share her passion for the performing arts with Philadelphia.
