She has worked extensively in arts and theater management for 25 years. Prior to her previous position as the Assistant Director of the School of Theater Arts at the University of the Arts, she was the director of the Bryn Mawr College Performing Arts Series, assistant director of the South Jersey Performing Arts Center (now Waterfront Arts) and managing director of the community arts center FrankfordStyle.
Nan was one of the original staff members of the American Music Theater Festival (now the Prince Music Theater), and produced Actors' Equity business theater, murder mystery weekends and corporate special events for DMK Productions. She worked as an associate producer for WHYY-FM, WHYY-TV and WCAU-TV. Nan is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston.
