Nicole Cavaliere

Nicole Cavaliere received her Bachelors of Science in Dance and Education and her Masters of Arts in Performing Arts Administration, both from New York University. As a dance educator, she taught students from all five boroughs of New York City with the National Dance Institute, founded by Jacques D’Amboise, as well as served as the Director of the dance program at Olympic Style and Gymnastics Academy in Queens, New York and the Children’s Athletic Training Services in Manhattan.
In 2001, she formed a multi-disciplinary performing arts company, The Cavaliere Players, which made its debut in the New York International Fringe Festival. The Cavaliere Players was also commissioned by Peculiar Works Projects to create site specific works in The Judson House Project and In Praise of Folly: the Don Quixote Project in New York.
Her professional administration career began as the Associate General Manager of Big League Theatricals, an organization that produced national tours of musicals. Since then, she has worked in Theatre as the General Manager of Primary Stages Company, an Off-Broadway theater in New York, and Director of Development at People’s Light & Theatre Company in Malvern, Pennsylvania; as Director of Development of Career Transitions for Dancers with headquarters in New York and a satellite office in Los Angeles, California; and as the Grants Manager, responsible for Government and Foundation funding, at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.
Nicole joined Jeanne Ruddy Dance as Managing Director in the winter of 2008. She serves on the board of T3 Triathlon Team, volunteers through street outreach with the Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness, and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Americans for the Arts.
