Millie Lane Berg

A graduate of Agnes Scott College, The State University of Iowa, and Bank Street College of Education, Millie Lane- Berg is a Professor of Early Childhood Education at the Community College of Philadelphia - a degree program that she helped to found in 1973.
Prior performance experience has included talk show host for All About Kids - WDVT, Kidwaves radio programming, Acting Director of Interpretation with the Please Touch Museum (1989): Happily Ever After - Folklore and Fairy Tales, and Prime Times - Books and Children project, Louisiana Endowment for the Arts.
Awards have included Best Actress (Agnes Scott College), The Lindback Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching, The Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children's Award of Excellence, and Outstanding Performance Award, Community College of Philadelphia.
She currently teaches a course on infant and toddler development and Children's Literature at Community College of Philadelphia and is active in St. Mark's Church. Millie has been a member of the JRD board since 2004.
